Submissions

Formatting Guidelines

  • Word Count & Length: Manuscripts should be between 4,000 and 7,000 words (approximately 25 pages).
  • Typography & Layout: Set text in 12-point Times New Roman with 1.5 line spacing and 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • File Format: Submissions must be uploaded as an MS Word document (.doc or .docx). PDFs are not accepted.
  • Abstract & Biodata: Include a structured abstract of approximately 200 words, accompanied by an author biodata of around 100 words.
  • Style & Citations: All in-text citations and reference lists must strictly adhere to the APA 7th edition format.

Review Process

  • Double-Blind Peer Review: Each manuscript undergoes rigorous evaluation by two anonymous external reviewers.
  • Turnaround Time: Review reports and initial editorial decisions are typically available within 1 to 2 months.
  • Review Fee: A non-refundable review fee of ₦5,000 applies to all submissions.

Plagiarism & Academic Integrity

  • Screening: All submitted manuscripts are systematically screened using advanced plagiarism detection software.
  • Zero Tolerance: Plagiarism and self-plagiarism in any form are grounds for immediate rejection.
  • Sanctions: Authors found guilty of academic misconduct or plagiarism may face a temporary or permanent ban from future submissions.

Data Sharing & Transparency

  • Open Science: Authors are strongly encouraged to make the data supporting their findings publicly available where applicable.
  • Verification: Editors or reviewers may request underlying raw data during the review process to ensure research transparency and verification.

Conflict of Interest

  • Author Disclosure: Authors must explicitly disclose any potential conflicts of interest, financial ties, or funding sources at the time of submission.
  • Editorial Objectivity: Reviewers and editors are also required to declare any potential conflicts to maintain complete objectivity throughout the evaluation process.

Retractions, Corrections, & Ethics

  • Ethical Standards: Authors must guarantee that their work is entirely original, un-published elsewhere, and ethically sound. Data falsification or fabrication will lead to immediate rejection or retraction.
  • Post-Publication Corrections: Minor errors that do not affect the core findings can be rectified through a formally published erratum. Articles may be fully retracted if critical errors, fraudulent data, or severe ethical violations are discovered post-publication.

Open Access & Publication Terms

  • Open Access Policy: All published articles are made freely available to the global academic community immediately upon publication, with no subscription barriers.
  • Copyright & Licensing: Authors retain the overall copyright of their work while granting the journal exclusive first publication rights.
  • Fees: Specific details regarding publication or article processing fees (APPs) will be communicated to authors upon formal acceptance of their manuscript.
